flip monster cards to fight
choose: spend a weapon to defeat OR take damage equal to monster strength
either way, earn points equal to each monster's strength value
each weapon defeats specific types of monster, some have special effects
win by clearing all cards; lose if HP drops to 0 (penalty: -10 points)
escape to maintain score
you cannot escape after revealing a card
